Sarana Trans Sumatera (STS) began its operations in 2002, operating as a CV (Company), specializing in shipping partial volume cargo (LCL) containers via sea to Medan.

Over time, the company continued to grow and earned the trust of loyal customers, providing FCL shipments to many major ports in Indonesia.

To adapt to the company’s evolving circumstances, they needed to improve and enhance their professionalism in all aspects, one of which was by changing and enhancing their corporate structure.
Therefore, in 2012, they changed their company structure to a limited liability company and officially adopted the name “PT. Sarana Trans Sumatera.”
